School Meals

St. Joseph’s provides an opportunity for all pupils to enjoy a hot cooked lunch each day.

We use Kafoodle to share our menus with parents quickly and easily. This digital system ensures you always have access to the most up-to-date meal information. You can view daily options, dietary details, and allergen information.

School Meals

Our school catering service is provided by staff directly employed by our Trust as part of the Bishop Wilkinson Catering Services Team.

Menus will be rotated on a 3 week cycle.  There is no pre-ordering, children can choose on the day.

School dinners for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children are free of charge. The cost of meals has increased from September 2025 for Key Stage 2 pupils (Y3, Y4, Y5 & Y6)  will be £2.95 per day/£14.75 per week. Nursery children staying for lunch will need to pay £2.95 from September 2025.

Payments for your child’s school lunches can be made online via the Arbor School System.

If you require more information regarding any of the above please contact school.

Healthy

Packed lunches may be brought in a lunch box.  We would, however, ask you to do your best to encourage your children to take up school lunches to promote a healthy diet. Any drinks should be in plastic bottles not cans.

Please try to ensure that packed lunches comprise mainly of savoury foods and some fresh fruit. Sweet foods should be limited to only one biscuit/cake. Sweets should never be in a packed lunch. These will be sent back home uneaten.

All in Fridays

We are continuing with ‘All in Fridays’ (Fishy Friday) if your child is currently on packed lunches but would like a dinner on a Friday please inform school.  There is a payment of £2.95 (from September 2025) for Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 children.  Please ensure payment is made online via the Arbor School System.
