Mental Health Week

Some mindful movement in Class 1 for Children’s Mental Health Week

As part of Mental Health Week Class 2 and Class 3 and have spent time outside in the fresh air. The children enjoyed lovely walk and a game or 2 of duck duck goose. The children were then challenged to ‘stand’ on their shadow’s head. Lots of fun watching them trying to outrun the sun! Class 2 completed the daily mile, and talked about the important role exercise can play in improving our mental well being. We are so lucky to have such fantastic outdoor spaces to use everyday!

As part of Mental Health Week Class 2 read Ruby’s Worry by Tim Perceval, we talked about some of our own worries and the importance of sharing them with trusted adults. After listening to the story we spent some time in our beautiful wildlife area.
